How to Make Solar Panels – Make Your Own Green Energy Source to Slash Or Eliminate Your Electricity

by admin in Green Energy

If you’re reading this article I’m sure you are looking for easy ways to make solar panels or build a wind turbine to have your own green energy source and start living off grid. This article will give you an overview of the things you need to make your own homemade energy source; homemade solar panels or wind turbines. No one will ever be able to start building their own solar panels or wind turbines without having a solid plan to follow, that unless you are an expert in this field. So many guides are available online but not so many will deliver the exact step-by-step instructions you need to make your own solar panels or wind turbines. I have been looking for a few months for manuals and DIY guides to build solar panels, and soon found out that most of them are incomplete. Some of them offer information that is more confusing than helpful and I’m sure that is not what you’re looking for. Millions of people worldwide are looking to build their own energy source not only to reduce the electric bills but protect the environment for many years to come. No matter what you want to build, be it solar panels or wind turbines there are a few key elements you need to know even before you start your project: 1. Learn the basics of how such a system works and what each part of system is supposed to do. 2. If you’re going to follow a guide make sure that it contains all the information you need to make solar panels or wind turbines and not only but where to get all the components at the lowest prices. In fact some of the parts for your system can be found at your local hardware store and you can get some for free, all the information should be contained within the guide. All the parts and tools for the whole project should not cost you more than two hundred dollars. 3. Before buying a guide make sure that it not only contains basic information but a step-by-step plan to make your own solar panels even if you are a novice in this field. This is very important, because this way every detail you need to know will be explained carefully. 4. Don’t even bother purchasing a guide that does not offer tech support. It doesn’t have to be a life-time tech support but you might happen run over troubleshooting and that’s when you might need to call them and get all the information that you further need. It will be a lot easier for you to complete your project if you have an expert answering any question you may have as you move along with the project. Most guides do include free tech support, however be careful before purchasing the guide. 5. Don’t start your project unless you have all the tools that are necessary to build your own green energy source. You will also need protection gloves and goggles so make sure to put these on your list. Find a place that is ventilated correctly as there will be some sewage work. Making solar panels or wind turbines is not only a very rewarding experience but you can start living off-grid, forget about those high electricity bills and protect the environment at the same time for many generations to come. Free Green Energy Wind Turbine

by admin in Green Energy

With energy costs rising as they are today, more folks are looking towards using little wind turbines to power their houses. This is a superb way to reduce your grid power consumption at home but there are a few things to be wary of. If you don’t see full scale air turbines being built nearby, you may wish to rethink your green energy method, little air turbines will be far less efficient than large ones. Small Wind Turbine to Power Home These are freely available online and can provide an excellent concept about how much power you might generate from the wind. When you have an idea about the average wind speed, think about the size of turbine which will fit your property. If you have masses of open space, you’ll be able to buy a larger turbine to take better advantage of the available wind. The most commonly available little wind turbines are rated at 250W, 500W and 1000W, but this doesn’t mean that they’ll always generate this amount of power. The rating is generally for a comparatively high wind speed, as high as 30 mph. Most areas of north America do not have wind resources this powerful. This indicates that a 1000W rated turbine may only constantly generate 400-500W of power. Obviously if you would like to generate an important quantity of power from the wind, you are going to need more than one turbine. Quite often there’s a negative link between power demand and wind speed. Many hot, wet summer days come with tiny wind. Working with these issues is the prime concern when coming up with your home replenish-able energy system using small air turbines. Though the out of doors section of the system is the most obvious, the genuine wizardry occurs within. Elements like charge controllers, batteries and inverters give the chance for you to use the energy generated by your small wind turbine at some specific point in the future. This indicates that your turbine can be generating power in the middle of the night that you could use the following day. This is the perfect situation for using replenish-able energy at home. Commercially available small wind turbines are not the only real way to satisfy the necessities of your green energy system. If you want to tackle DIY projects, a wind turbine is not very difficult to build. When you create your own tiny wind turbine, you can figure out how much power it will generate and you can tailor it to your system. This advantage alone makes this project worthwhile for those that may handle it. If nothing available commercially suits your wishes, think about this option. More little Wind Turbine info . Do You Agree With Top Selling Video Games?

by admin in Green Energy

America topped $21 billion. Listed below are the top selling video games of all time, as of January 2009. 1. Wii Sports Developer: Nintendo Entertainment Analysis and Development Platform: Nintendo Wii Year of Release: 2006 Copies Sold: 41.65 million In every country except Japan, when you buy a Nintendo Wii you get Wii Sports. This accounts for most of the game’s now-historic success. Still, if the game (and its platform) weren’t good, perhaps some of its 40-million-plus sales might have gone to a rival. Wii Sports includes five separate sports games: tennis, baseball, bowling, golf, and boxing. As is characteristic to the Wii, the games are simple to learn and make use of the Wii “remote.” Players use the remote to mimic the real life actions required to play the sports. Super Mario Bros. 2. Super Mario Bros. Developer: Nintendo Entertainment Analysis and Development Platform: Nintendo Entertainment System Year of Release: 1985 Copies Sold: 40.24 million Super Mario Bros. is a classic in every sense of the word. Its story has been turned into TV shows, a film, comic books, and more. Even its theme music—composed Koji Kondo—is familiar to non-gamers and has lately been performed by symphonies around the world. While Super Mario Bros.’s original platform, the Nintendo Entertainment System, has long been obsolete, Nintendo has kept the game fresh be releasing sequels, special editions, and spin-offs that span all of Nintendo’s subsequent platforms, from the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, to Game Boy, to the Wii. Pokemon Red, Green and Blue 3. Pokemon Red, Green and Blue Developer: Game Freak Platform: Game Boy Year of Release: 1996 Copies Sold: 31.38 million Before it made the leap to the big and small screen and as an endless array of consumer products, Pokemon was a role-playing video game for Nintendo Game Boy. The three versions listed here are the first three-and best-selling-entries in the Pokemon franchise. At the time of its release, Nintendo didn’t have many expectations for Pokemon, as it was coming out on the Game Boy, a platform that was quickly losing popularity. But Pokemon caught on, and managed to extend the life of Game Boy and give Nintendo another money-making franchise. Tetris 4. Tetris Developers: Alexey Pajitnov, Dmitry Pavlovsky and Vadim Gerasimov Platform: Game Boy Year of Release: 1989 Copies Sold: 30.26 million So simple it’s hard to believe it hasn’t been around since the dawn of time (or at least the invention of the wheel), Tetris was actually developed in Russia and then purchased by Nintendo. It debuted on Game Boy and has since appeared on pretty much every platform imaginable, including cell phones and graphing calculators. For those living in a cave for the last 20 years, Tetris is a geometric puzzle game in which the player has to arrange falling shapes in the right manner, or else the shapes will begin to pile up. If the pile reaches the top of the screen, the game is over. Duck Hunt 5. Duck Hunt Developer: Nintendo Research and Development 1 Platform: Nintendo Entertainment System Year of Release: 1984 Copies Sold: 28.31 million Any kid who grew up around the Nintendo Entertainment System probably remembers the bright orange “gun” used to play Duck Hunt. That gun set Duck Hunt apart, because you used it—instead of a more traditional controller—to play the game. If you aimed the gun right, you could hit one of the digital ducks flying across the TV screen. In the 1980′s, it was miraculous. Although Duck Hunt wasn’t immediately praised critically, it was bundled with Nintendo so every gamer got a chance to play it. Now, there are literally hundreds of games that offer a much more advanced (and more violent) “shooting” experience, but Duck Hunt helped bring a hair-trigger to the masses. Pokemon Gold 6. Pokemon Gold and Silver Developer: Game Freak Platform: Game Boy Year of Release: 1999 Copies Sold: 23.11 million We’ve already covered the first Pokemon-the Red, Green, and Blue editions sitting at No. 3 on the list of all-time top-selling video games. The Gold and Silver versions are extensions of their forebears with some new wrinkles, including an internal clock that tweaked the game play enough to keep it fresh. Nintendogs Dalmatian 7. Nintendogs Developer: Nintendo Entertainment Analysis and Development Platform: Nintendo DS Year of Release: 2005 Copies Sold: 21.60 million Developed for the Nintendo DS handheld platform, Nintendogs takes advantage of the DS’s touch screen capability. Gamers can pet, feed, and play with their virtual dogs. The game was originally released in three versions: Dachshund & Friends, Lab & Friends, and Chihuahua & Friends. Due to its popularity, Nintendogs has been re-released twice since ’05, and has been spun-off into two sequels. Super Mario World 8. Super Mario World Developer: Nintendo Entertainment Analysis and Development Platform: Super Nintendo En

by admin in Green Energy

Dozens of new jobs geared specifically towards professionals boasting electrician and green energy engineering qualifications are due to be created in York over the coming months. With the green light having recently been given for the planned construction of the Selby Renewable Energy Park on a site just outside the city formerly occupied by Tate & Lyle, developers have confirmed that they are in the process of signing up contractors, with up to 120 new jobs to be made available in the near future. It is estimated that around 80 jobs will be created through the construction of the green energy plant, with a further 40, including positions for electricians and engineers, to be sustained at the plant once it is operational, the York Press has reported. Welcoming the news, local councilor Mark Crane told the paper: “I’m pleased to hear that 40 people living in the area will find good jobs and look forward to the plant becoming a reality.” As much as eight megawatts of green power will be produced at the Selby site once it is fully operational, sufficient to power all the homes in the area for a year. News of the jobs comes after the government announced the launch of

Wind Power Battery Storage System

by admin in Green Energy

There is a new Canadian technology could make wind power a much more reliable source of energy with their new wind power battery storage system. VRB Power Systems Inc. (www.vrbpower.com) is a company in Vancouver that has developed a large-scale storage unit which allows it to a hold significant amount of power. These batteries could be the solution to the main problem that we have with wind, the fact that it is unpredictable. Five percent of the electricity produced in Saskatchewan comes from wind. Wind power would be a great alternative to using coal if they could only predict the amount of wind they would be receiving. Hydro offers a dependable power supply to meet basic industrial and residential needs. Wind adds to the mix of hydro and gas however it does not do it consistently. Wind can decide to blow at night when there is no demand for it at all, or it may decide to be unavailable when people actually need it. Although coal is a much more dependable resource, it has a huge downside and that is the amount of pollution that it sends off into the atmosphere. To use clean coal technology would be very expensive. The new power plant that might be built in Saskatchewan will cost roughly $1.5 billion to produce 300 MW of power that we could actually use. If they decided to spend the same amount of money on wind the plant would be able to give off 1,000 MW of power. However unfortunately for the reasons that have been already stated they can not rely on wind power to satisfy the people?s basic needs. It would be wonderful if we could store large amounts of wind power and then use it when it is necessary. Although storing wind power in batteries is not feasible, the VRB wind power battery storage system technology just may allow it to be possible of us to do so. Advice On Handling Consumer Complaint…?

by admin in Green Energy

I opened a can of greens for dinner and it was all juice, with no greens. I am not upset. It happens, no biggie. I would however like to have the company send me a coupon for a replacement can. I love the product and will continue to buy it and I told them so in an email request. Now Im wondering, since i was not fussy and threatening to not purchase thier product, do you suppose they will bother to address me, since they know they are in no danger of losing me as a consumer? The real question I put to you all is which do you think is a more effective approach? “You catch more flies with honey then with vinegar” or ” The squeaky wheel gets the grease” I prefer the nice approach myself.
