   The US has one of the largest per capita energy consumption rates in the world and most of this energy comes from polluting fossil fuel. The US needs to urgently shift to cleaner, greener energy options. Thankfully the government is supporting the shift too. We as consumers need to play a more knowledgeable role in this process.    Adding “Green Energy” to our current grid is meant to shift our usage away from fossil fuels, and other “non-green” energies. If we can get energy and not leave a big cloud of pollution behind, then we all win in the long run.
