What Are You Doing To Take Action On The Green Movement (besides Obvious)?
Besides the obvious, do you donate to organizations such as Organic Consumers Association (who are trying to battle the big corps), do you volunteer for such organizations? Do you put your money where it makes a point — such as buying organic food and non-food products to help shift the demand? Do you take action on sites such as change.org, signing petitions, creating petitions, making pledges? Do you cut down on consuming/buying, and attempt to reuse items you already have? Have you learned how to do things, like sew, or garden, or cook, that you didn’t do before to conserve?
Are You Doing Your Part To Help Our Environment?
Ok, you’re recycling and saving electricity by maybe changing bulbs or simply turning lights off but have you considered the ramifications of using store bought cleaners, vitamins, etc on our health and our environment – the chemicals and synthetics in these products cause greater harm to our families and our environment than most consumers are aware of. There are safer alternatives to going green and they don’t have to cost a fortune – I’ve found lots and my family and my environment are being cared for properly.
Who Is Doing Renewable Energy Education? How Are You Accomplishing The Task? What Are You Focused On?
I am researching the current energy and renewable energy issues facing the world. The task is very extensive and complicated. Each region has renewable energy opportunities that can be important to environmental issues, economic development, and social needs for all humans. Government agencies, industry, agriculture, educational and research organizations are focused upon massive research efforts. This seems to provide a way to share information, thoughts and ways to help people to improve our lives by conserving energy, find alternative energy resources and realize that fossil fuels are depleting and non-renewable. Can renewable energy be a way to produce additional energy? Networking can provide valuable information to further the advancement of changing habits about energy. I am a farmer with a background in sustainable energy and educational degrees in agriculture. A sustainable energy for industrial and developing countries can improve the quality of life of all human beings.
